Notes and Modifications

I am adding a retractible bowsprit that will extend no-more than 33 inches foward of the headstay (with a removable furler) for my asymmetrical Spinnaker. I do not have the demensions, but it was a standard sail made by North Sails for this boat. I have been in contact with George Samalot, and he told me the bowsprit can extend up to 35 1/2 inches without a rating change. I would like the bowsprit, and if necessary the removable furler, listed on my certificate to validate my rating. Thank you.
